The Godfather of the Infernal Dynasty: Interview With Zach Black

Orgasmic-Karmatic, Co-Host of The Ooze Celebrates Satanic International Network's 1-Year Anniversary

Greetings! I would like to welcome you to the Simon Necronomicon Gate-Walker’s Info Page. If this is your first time here, please take the time to check some of our previous articles and enjoy your day. Stay blessed!

Occasionally, we get the chance to converse with others from varying traditions, which serves as an aid in expanding our own accepted point of view. One of the most influential people in the field of “Satanic thought” agreed to discuss some of his beginnings and viewpoints. I am speaking of the Godfather of the Infernal Dynasty, and principal founder of the Satanic International Network, Mr. Zach Black.

The Pope of Flames has accomplished a lot over the years. You would think that someone of his character would be out of reach, or maybe a bit egotistical, but in Zach Black we find just the opposite. Zach is a standup guy. He is not one to mix his meats at the dinner table, nor does he mix his words. He has a unique confidence to tell you straight up where he stands on any given subject, and does so in a clear and concise way. In my opinion, this is the blueprint for success. Instead of solicitating an idea of a mythical paradigm, as the lens of understanding the world around us, Zach simply created a paradigm of like-minded people with the common goal of being. This is just one of the things that I admire and have learned from the Godfather of the Infernal Dynasty.

it’s unfortunate that some have mistaken Zach’s blunt demeanor as an attack on their character. The Godfather is not one to hold back his critique, or sugar-coat how he feels about you, but this doesn’t mean that he holds any animosity towards you either. It is what it is.

Recently, there has been a lot of talk among LHPers about free the mind of superstitious dogma and gravitating towards the simplicity of being. It’s kind of like the Fool card in the Tarot deck, you begin with possibilities that you end up with in the end and find yourself after years of study, holding the Fool’s card, innocent like a child.

“It is this child-like vitality that will allow the Satanist to peek through the curtain of darkness and death and remain earthbound.”

Zach and I have conversed over the internet for some time and I was delighted to hear his perspective and learn a bit more about his history. Make sure you take the time to checkout his YouTube channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/satanicinternational If you are not a member you may want to look into joining the Satanic International Network, which can be found at the following link: www.satanicinternationalnetwork.com Well, Zach and myself are about to have some beer, care to join us?

Warlock Asylum:  I became familiar with your persona by way of The Ooze. You have definitely accomplished a lot over the past few years, but for our readers who may not know who you are, how would you describe yourself?

Zach Black: I consider myself a ‘self-styled’ Satanist. I am from the LaVeyan school originally, but now after meeting many other Satanists, combined with age and personal life experience, my perspective and philosophy has developed into something beyond LaVeyan Satanism, something more sinister in nature. The closest specific leanings I have at this point would be ONA.

Warlock Asylum: What sparked your interest in the occult, and more specifically, Satanism?

Zach Black: I was interested in magic and the occult from about the age of 10. I never really swallowed the idea of ‘God,’ although, I did try as a child. When I grew old enough to apply my own reasoning skills and stand up against my folks I walked away from Christianity. Heavy metal was an influence too, with the Satanic imagery and what not. This was back in the late-80’s, the heyday of the Satanic panic, so that kinda peaked my interest as well.

Warlock Asylum: Over the past few years there has been an increased presence in alternative forms of Satanic thought. In view of such, what is your definition of a Satanist?

Zach Black: My definition of a Satanist would be someone who can think for themselves. Someone who does not need to be told what to do, someone who champions individuality and creativity, and lives life to the fullest, also someone who does not believe in imaginary friends for adults.

"He who upholds his responsibilities should be most entitled to the pleasures of his choice, without censure from the society he serves."

Warlock Asylum: How did you become a Satanist?

Zach Black: I was a runaway at the age of 13. I came across another runaway who was a few years my senior. He carried the Satanic Bible around. I was intrigued. So I read it, and it really resonated with me. The rest is history.

Warlock Asylum: How has this path benefited you over the years, and were there any obstacles that you faced along the way?

Zach Black: Satanism has benefited me in a few ways. I think it has helped me become a stronger man. It has increased my awareness of myself and others and the world around me. Satanism has helped me lose my illusions and become more of a realist.

Some of the obstacles that I have encountered over the years have mainly involved personal relations with family, friends, and lovers. I have lost close people in all three fields of life by advertising the fact I am a Satanist, not to mention a few jobs. This is why I don’t advertise anymore, with the exception of online stuff. But I have recently been out in my area here in San Diego, but at this point down the road I am not really too concerned about it anymore.

"Don't waste your time with people who will ultimately destroy you, but concentrate instead on those who will appreciate your responsibility to them, and, likewise, feel responsible to you."

Warlock Asylum: I would like to congratulate you on the success of the Satanic International Network. Can you tell us what inspired you to create the network?

Zach Black: Thank you.  I created Satanic International Network to serve as a networking hub for all Satanists to meet. I saw the limitations of Satanic several ‘organizations.’ Most of these organizations have a specific hierarchy and ask for money to be part of the ‘elite,’ or the ‘in’ crowd. I fell for that shit when I was 18 and joined the Church of Satan. You should not have to call someone some fancy prefix and pay money to meet other like-minded individuals.

Warlock Asylum: You are also involved with the successful internet radio series The Ooze. How did the unique collaboration between The Ooze and S.I.N come about?

Zach Black: The creator and visionary behind the Ooze T.C. Downey (Beast Xeno) approached me on Youtube. We developed a friendship, and over time The Ooze added a few new co-hosts and I was one of them for a while.  Beast Xeno also helped me create Satanic International Network. Without his help it would not exist.

Warlock Asylum: Are there any projects that you are currently working on?

Zach Black: Actually at the moment I am just trying to promote the Satanic International Network. It just reached its one year milestone, growing faster than ever before. The network takes up most of my free time. I have a few things on the back-burner, but until I set the wheels in motion I would just assume they do not exist.

Warlock Asylum: What advice would you give to those newly interested in the occult, as well as, LHPers, Necronomicon Practitioners, New Agers, Satanists, and the occult world in general?

Zach Black: Read. Live life! Put your ideas into action, not just talk, and most importantly find your own way.

Warlock Asylum: Any final thoughts?

Zach Black: Thank you for your time and interest. Hail Satan!.

The Administration of Papers In The Attic would like to send a big thank you to Zach Black and S.I.N. Members of the Necronomicon Tradition would like to wish you a happy one-year anniversary and may your future endeavors grow and prosper.

  1. This is what I love about Zach, he is capable, intelligent, and concise; but what he never leaves behind is his grounded down to Earth do-it-yourself mentality. That do-it-yourself mentality commands respect, regardless of how you feel about his bedside manners.

    Excellent interview WA!

Oh and Greybush (Zach)… have another beer for me… ;P

  2. Excellent interview! Zach has been keeping the black flame alive and well, and SIN is a huge success of it.

  3. That’s very interesting, Jason…

So, why the blatant, two-faced hypocrisy? I’m just curious.
