Keeping Our Power Chained To The Underworld

I recently was asked about the following passage that appears in the Book of Calling:

“Know, fourthly, that it is become the obligation of the Priests of the Flame and the Sword, and of all Magick, to bring their Power to the Underworld and keep it chained thereby, for the Underworld is surely the Gate Forgotten,..”

Some may wonder; how does one keep their power chained to the Underworld and for what purpose? As we have stated numerous times on this blog page, the workings of the Necronomicon Tradition are chthonic in nature, a very ancient rite where primal forces are employed. Readers are also encouraged to review a recent article entitled; Mysteries of the Gate of Arzir for a detailed discussion about this.

The Mad Arab encourages us to keep our “power” chained to the Underworld so the Initiate can keep the reservoir of obtained through the rites for his/herself, to be used in a way that is best fit. It is a way to keep the system pure and avoid the hoax and scams that we see presently in the so-called occult world. I will give you a simple example of what I mean. In a book written by John Breen and Mark Teeuwen entitled; Shinto in History: Way of the Kami, we read about the workings of a certain Shinto-Buddhist organization. Page 89 states:

“Shoen monks performed rituals of witchcraft and black magic (juso) against subversives (those who did not comply with the economic orders of religious institutions). In the Kongobuji (the main temple of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism at Koyasan), for example, the names of those who had not yet paid their taxes or who resisted the temple’s authority were written down and a divine punishment was invoked upon them during the ceremony of the four seasons’ (shiki kito). The Kofukuji invoked such punishment upon the enemies of the temple even if they were members of the Fujiwara house, whom it could strike at the house’s register. Those rituals for divine punishment were not deemed to be against Buddhist ethics, because they were considered to be aimed at destroying the afflictions of the temple’s enemies and thus lead them to salvation. needless to say, the more the landholders spoke about the salvation of the masses, the more they increased their own wealth and power. In other words, the landholders were identified with the buddhas and kami that were the objects of the cult, while the common folks and servants were identified with dominated ones in need of salvation.”

The information, cited above, reveals the underhanded workings of certain groups, even in paths like Buddhism and Shinto. Here it is that when certain members of an esoteric Buddhist group didn’t pay their taxes, the priest of this organization performed “magical” rituals of divine punishment against these “subversives,” which were members of this same organization. Meanwhile, by way of esoteric formulae, the property holders, to whom the taxes were paid to, were identified with the buddhas and the kami that were revered in the same group. Here is one example of what occurs throughout various regions of mystical, occult, and religious practices around the world in secret. Many people who are part of some “reputable” religious, or occult organization have chains put on them by the organization’s hierarchy. This means that anytime this person is disagreeable with the a group’s leadership, they enact a form of “divine punishment” upon the person who appears to be “subversive.” This leaves the person second-guessing themselves as they associate their new found “bad luck,” not on the ritual that was directed towards them, but on the basis that they left the divine path, which turns out to be scam.

This sort of thing occurs in mostly all systems of religion and magic. Here it is Arshinkoff wrote an article about Max Heidel and Biblical Theory. I take it that he is a newcomer, but ARE YOU CRAZY? What are you talking about?!!! The Bible is a book of Black Magic. Notice the example of King David. The following website Child Sacrifice in Israel explains how King David’s “god” required a SACRIFICE of seven of Saul’s sons in order to relieve a famine that occurred in the land. Those versed in Sumerian mythology will note that there are no references to human sacrifice demanded by the gods. This is even the case with Namtar, but here it is that the gods of the Christian paradigm worship a deity that requires such, and to make matters worse, followers of this faith often insinuate that the Sumerian deities were demons.

Christianity, usually depicted as a European religion, though its origins is said to take place in the Middle East, also suffers from the same spiritual crimes. It is no mystery that Christianity has a history of bloodshed. The basic principle of the Christian faith is that Jesus died for the sins of mankind. However, what is not often revealed to the masses, is that Jesus is a personification of the indigenous people who must be sacrificed every year, so that “god” (the wealthy) can allow man to live a somewhat “comfortable life,” as long as he/she complies by the spiritual don’t ask/don’t tell spiritual policies of the church. This is the reason why Christianity was presented by the same powers that employed ass murder and genocide schemes on nations that they conquered.

Another point that is often overlooked by so-called occultists of the “new age” is that grimoires and magical systems that make use of Christian angels are actually sigils that strengthen the Church of Rome’s power. What this means is that anytime a so-called “magician” employs entities that are founded in Christianity, the energy used in raising these so-called “angels” is collected from the magician and is received by the Catholic Church’s hierarchy, even if the magician is not a Christian. We discover this by reviewing the origins of how saints came to be worshipped. Lyman Coleman wrote a unique book on Christianity that was published in 1852 entitled, Ancient Christianity Exemplified In The Life of Primitive Christians. Page 522 states:

“As men had long been accustomed to assemble for public worship at the graves of the martyrs, the idea of erecting churches over them would readily occur…..the Christians began to embalm the bodies of the reputed saints and keep them in their houses. the communion of the martyrs being thus associated with the presence of their material remains, these were dug up from the graves and placed in the churches, especially under the altars, and the popular feeling having now a visible object to excite it, became more extravagant and superstitious than ever.”

It’s funny that Christians should criticize Anton Lavey for having a nude woman on the altar, as a way of using the sexual energy for a beneficial purpose, while the history of Christianity, as cited above, reveals that they used rotting corpses to invoke their ceremonies. In any event, it should still be noted that the energy of the member was used, whether dead or alive, by the Church for its own agenda, while persecuting true “witches.”

Another example is seen in Carlo Caldorola’s book, Religions and Societies, page 598 states:

“Many stories are told of battles in which the black magic of one Taoist has caused the illness or even death of a rival Taoist whose magic was less powerful. The magic of Lu Shan, for example, is mortally opposed to the Cheng-i sect of Lung-hu Sahn, and both orders fear the powerful Mao Shan.”

In the following examples, we see how manipulative some organizations can be, regardless of their occult or religious affiliation, they are still involved in the art of manipulation. It is for this reason that the Mad Arab encouraged Initiates of the Necronomicon Tradition to keep their power chained to the Underworld and not to expend it on organizations deemed unworthy. These organizations seek to put “chains” on its membership, where the said “member” is the source of energy of a “magical organization” that can only gives the so-called Initiate adjective to wear and a dream of what others have done, while maintaining the idea that enlightenment is the art of composing a book report. The leaders of these groups have no true initiation, so. they create a scheme of fancy aesthetics to lure the ignorant into turning over their power to a group of magicians or to a corporate image posing as one. Any true Initiate of the Greater Mysteries knows that their growth and development is a personal thing. Notice what is mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon’s Introduction:

“Man’s power to alter the nature of his environment must develop simultaneously with his ability to master his inner environment, his own mind his psyche, soul, spirit.”

It is for reasons as such that we find so much hate being spewed on the Necronomicon Tradition. It is an independent system that doesn’t require the assistance of an entire organization to see one grow spiritually. Many occult leaders denounce the Simon Necronomicon cannot explain it. How can you denounce something that you don’t understand? You go to any occult leader and ask him/her to explain something out of the Simon Necronomicon’s text, and they will go on a long speech about its authenticity, since they lack an understanding of the text in all their “adept-hood.” On the flip-side of the coin, you can ask any Initiate of the Necronomicon Tradition how the perceive a certain piece of information and they can expound on in a way that is unique. There are various levels of initiation, but a true adept has moved from dual consciousness to seeing god in all things, as all things are self. The sciences of Buddhism, Christianity, and etc, have some deep remarkable jewels when expounded upon by the adept. However, in the hands of those who are not initiated, as are many leaders of these same faiths, these belief systems become ways of fleecing the flock materially and spiritually. How is the Necronomicon tradition different?

Another reason why we are told to keep our ‘power chained to the Underworld’ is because only those who are initiated into “our ways” can work with the Underworld. If an uninitiated individual were to work with the part of the Underworld rites without initiation they face a forty-year curse, the number of Enki. Notice what is mentioned in the Urilia Text:

“the Ancient Worm, TIAMAT, the ABYSS, also called KUTULU the Corpse-GOD, yet who lies not dead, but dreaming; he whom secret priests, initiated into the Black Rites, whose names are writ forever in the Book of Chaos, can summon if they but know how……They were begotten before all ages and dwelt in the blood of KINGU, and MARDUK could not altogether shut them out. And they dwell in our country, and alongside our generations, though they may not be seen. And this was taught by the priests of Babylon, who charged that these formulae may never be revealed to anyone who is not initiated into our ways, for to do so would be the most frightful error.”

We find that the whole system of Gate-Walking is to prepare and attune the Initiate, so that they can work with the energy of Tiamat. Tiamat can mean many things, but it is primarily the energy that resides in our DNA. The name Tiamat means the “Maiden of Life.” We find the following comments in the Simon Necronomicon’s Introduction:

“..it is a powerful force, a magickal force, which is identified with mastery over the created world; it is also a power that can be summoned by the few and not the many…It has always, at least in the past two thousand years, been associated with occultism and essentially with Rites of Evil Magick, or the Forbidden Magick, of the Enemy, and of Satan . . .. . . and the twisting, sacred Spiral formed by the Serpent of the Caduceus, and by the spinning of the galaxies, is also the same Leviathan as the Spiral of the biologists’ Code of Life : DNA”

While modern-day scientist still remain baffled by the mysteries of DNA, there has always been a tradition of magicians who know that language of DNA, and by means of such are able to manipulate the environment since DNA is the language of life. gate-Walking exposes the Initiate into how these things work. Certain emotional and mental processes begin to take place, which aligns the Initiate’s disposition with the “mind of self” that exists in all things. notice what is mentioned by the Mad Arab:

“And if thou performest these operations often, thou shalt see things becoming dark; and the Wanderers in their Spheres shall no more be seen by thee; and the Stars in their places will lose their Light, and the Moon, NANNA, by whom thou also workest, shall become black and extinguished,..”

In other words, our relationship with the world around us begins to change. We no longer rely on books for information, but we are taught by nature itself. We are taught by self. Someone who has not went through this initiation will often resort to comparing facts from authors that they “trust,” debating what “idea” seems more appropriate than the other, but this process is erred because it still boils down to belief, and to believe in something means that you do not know it. You are just looking to feel content with a “correct attitude.”

The methods used in the Simon Necronomicon were employed by magicians who progressed from being men of flesh to men of fire. In the Book of Calling we are told:

“THIS is the Book of the Ceremonies of Calling, handed down since the time the Elder Gods walked the Earth, Conquerors of the Ancient Ones.”

In 1911’s edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica; A Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, Volume 2, by Hugh Chrisholm, page 55 states:

“…in Australia it cannot even be asserted that the gods are not spirits at all, much less that they are spirits of dead men; they are simply magnified magicians, super-men who have never died;”

These “super-men” are noted in the Simon Necronomicon as the Elder Gods. Although the text mentions the Elder Sign as being the power of Enki, the power of the Elder Gods, we also understand it as the power of man. In the Urilia Text, we are given the understanding of the “other” Mandal of Calling through the “four spirits of the Spaces.” You will not that the northern position of the Mandal is described as having a “face of a man,” but here we see the Mandal has the Agga sign, the sign of the Elder Gods in this space:

“And there are Four Spirits of the Spaces, and they come upon the Wind, and they are Things of the Wind, and of Fire. And the First comes from the North, and is called USTUR, and has a Human Shape. And He is the Most Ancient of the Four, and a Great Lord of the World. And the Second comes from the East, and is called SED and has the Shape of a Bull, but with a human face, and is very mighty. And the Third comes from the south, and is called LAMAS, and is of the Shape of a Lion, but with a human head, and governs those things of the Flame and the Burning Wind. And the Fourth comes from the West, and is called NATTIG, and is of the Shape of an Eagle, but with a human body, having only the face and wings of an Eagle, with an Eagle’s claws. And this Eagle comes from the Sea and is a Great Mystery.”

We find evidence of the Elder Gods existence prior to Lovecraftian fiction in the Greater Mysteries. Written in 1893, years before the Lovecraftian Mythos, The Pacific Theosophist, Volumes 4-6,  states the following on page 65:

“There has existed for tens of centuries in the inaccessible wilderness about the Himalaya mountains a secret  Brotherhood of great souls-which is the meaning of the word Mahatma-or Elder Brothers;  men who after many incarnations have obtained great wisdom; have learned to control themselves and through that control to make the forces of  Nature their servants. These Mahatmas are the repository of wisdom of the ages, which, accumulating century after century, has been entrusted to their keeping.  Nations have appeared and disappeared with their various civilizations; priesthoods have advanced to great power and have been abolished, yet the Brotherhood has continued, and has been made the heir of all which these civilizations and priesthoods have developed. Continents have risen above the ocean, have been made ready for inhabitants, have been occupied by millions, and have been sunk beneath the waves; still the Brotherhood has endured, not as the same individuals, but as successive Adepts possessed of all knowledge and power of their predecessors.  When one Brother has laid aside the body, a neophyte has been advanced to his place, and so the number has always remained undiminished. Not always have all the Elder Brothers remained in the same place; as occasion required they have appeared now in one place and now in another. For not only are they deep students and custodians of the knowledge of myriads of years, bur are Saviors of humanity. Their special charge is to help the human race in its slow evolution process of evolution from the man of flesh to the man of Spirit.”

We can see from the above information that the Elder Brothers were advance men and women who were able to tap into nature reservoir of energy to steer humanity in a proper direction This is an interesting point because the term “Ancient Ones” can be defined in many ways; from the Adept of the Necronomicon Mysteries to forces of nature, or malevolent forces, such as disease and etc. In the beginning, the Initiate is given a pseudo paradigm of the Elder Gods versus the Ancient ones to focus on the basic aspects of study. later, the Initiate is invited to take part in the Black Brotherhood.

“And even now I can hear the wolves howling in the mountains as they did that fateful night, and they are calling my name, and the names of Others….That this Book were an amulet, a Seal of Protection! That my ink were the ink of Gods and not of Men! But I must write hastily, and if thou cannot read nor understand this writing, perhaps it is sign enough for thee of the strength and power of the demons that be, in these times and in these places, and is surely a warning to thee to have a care and not to invoke carelessly, but cautiously, and not, under any circumstances, seek carelessly to open that Gate to the Outside, for thou can never know the Seasons of Times of the Ancient Ones, even though thou can tell their Seasons upon the Earth by the rules I have already instructed thee to compute; for their Times and Seasons Outside run uneven and strange to our minds, for are they not the Computers of All Time? Did they not set Time in its Place? It were not enough that the Elder Gods (have mercy on Thy servant!) set the Wanderers to mark their spaces, for such spaces as existed were the work of the Ancient Ones. Were no Sun to shine, were SHAMMASH never born, would not the years pass by, as quickly?”
