Necronomicon alchemist and martial artist Terrane Hicks is an emerging figure in the world. Terrane is one of the few genuine occultists in the post-modern era. He has gained a strong reputation in the occult world for his practical approach. Best of all, Terrane has reached an unprecedented level of success due to his no-nonsense approach to getting results through occult methods.

Recently, I had the honor of communicating with Terrane and discussing a few things about the Necronomicon, occult world, and Darklordism that I found very insightful. I think you will also take delight in Terrane Hicks’ words of wisdom and practical insights. Enjoy!

Question #1: Greetings Brother! It’s great to hear from you once again. There’s a lot of good news and good things that I see going on in your element. However, for some of our readers who may not be familiar with your work, please introduce yourself. Who is Terrane Hicks?

Terrane Hicks: I’m a martial artist and occultist. As an occultist, I engage in everything on the occultist spectrum.

Warlock Asylum How did you get involved in alchemical sciences and occultism?

Terrane Hicks: I had a very strong foundation in martial arts starting from the age of 5. With that, I also wasn’t plagued by the indoctrination of Western religion. This foundation allowed me to go more deeper into occult studies early in life.

Warlock Asylum: You’re often associated with the term “Darklordism”. Can you share with us the meaning of the term Darklordism and some of the philosophy behind it?

Terrane Hicks: There’s a book called “The Dark Lord” by one of my favorite Occultists, Peter Lavenda, that inspired the name. Movies like Star Wars and Harry Potter influenced the name as well… the concept of “The Dark Lord” is really deep and occult when you really look at it. “Darklordism” is a practitioner of magick. You have a perceived villain who was a very good student at one point and because of how occult he was, they were able to challenge the doctrine from which they learned. They weren’t afraid to go deeper or desire more. That’s what I teach.

Warlock Asylum: It’s amazing to see some of the work you have put forth and ways in which you have and continue to help others in both local and global communities. What are some of the ways in which Darklordism has helped those that have sought your advice or magical expertise?

Terrane Hicks: I have a YouTube channel called “Darklordism”, in which I teach authentic occult science that can be applied in day-to-day life. My channel also ties into my Facebook group where there is a community of individuals in different stages of learning. In my online group, they are able to converse and help one another as a collective. In return for doing their homework, they see the results of the science being applied in their life.

Warlock Asylum: There’s a passage about you in The Buddhanomicon that describes some of the altruistic characteristics of your nature. I think that any mention of your work in media should stand as a historical reference for the future of our tradition and work with the Necronomicon. How would you describe your experience with the Simon tome?

Terrane Hicks: First I would like to say that in working with the NEC or any high-level science when done correctly, you take on an altruistic nature/mentality. It’s the essence of being able to push yourself inward and be productive in teaching or helping the collective that truly makes this system last and stands the test of time and generations.

Warlock Asylum: Can you share with us an experience or two that you’ve had with the Simon Necronomicon, which really turned out to be a life lesson?

Terrane Hicks: Definitely, a lesson of learning the value of secrecy as someone initiated into this high-level science. You learn from these entities that secrecy and clearance are extremely important. There are secrets I can never share with anyone and at times that can be very lonely. I love to share knowledge and insight with people so for me that’s a lesson in itself.

Warlock Asylum: In what ways do you think that the Chaldean gnosis could greatly assist melanated people further their growth?

Terrane Hicks: Chaldean mysticism eliminates dependency from the individuals that practice it.

Warlock Asylum: How has your work with the Simon Necronomicon helped you in some of your life affairs and relationships with family and friends?

Terrane Hicks: Well, I will say that there’s a deep level of respect from family, friends, as well as other sorcerers. They can innately sense a depth in my energy in which they would like to inquire and learn about.

Warlock Asylum: It certainly takes a degree of fearlessness for a man of color to step forward as an occultist. Often times, you may find yourself being “blocked” in the same manner that white employees resent receiving discipline from a black supervisor at a job. What were some of the challenges that you had to overcome in order to become a pillar in the Necronomicon Tradition?

Terrane Hicks: Occultism, in essence, is melanated. The origins stem from melanated culture and people. There are no challenges…

Warlock Asylum: What can we expect to hear of Terrane Hicks in the future?

Terrane Hicks: You can expect more of what I’ve been doing.

Warlock Asylum:: How can our readers learn more about Darklordism and the Necronomicon Tradition from your vantage point of mentorship? Any final thoughts?

Terrane Hicks: To learn more about Darklordism you can subscribe to my channel on YouTube under the name Darklordism. I seldom take on new gate-walking students although I have quite a few students. Email me at terranehicks@gmail.com. If the energy seems to fit and you meet all the vetting requirements, I may give you a shot.

Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your many experiences with us! We wish you all the best in your earthly and spiritual endeavors.
