One More Chance by Downtown Mystic Is A Melodic Jewel

Downtown Mystic is the brainchild of musical veteran Robert Allen. The singer and songwriter has received numerous accolades from magazines and radio for his progressive rock sound that embodies many of the values held by purists of the genre. Downtown Mystic has released a new two-song single titled One More Chance. The new recording is distributed by AWAL/Kobalt Music.

The two-song single is comprised of tracks One More Chance and Read The Signs, the latter also features the craftiness of Bruce Engler. Robert and Bruce have a friendship that spans more than two decades. Both One More Chance and Read The Signs were written by Allen and Engler.

Downtown Mystic opens One More Chance with an electrifying melody that possesses traditional rock music ethics. The rich musical landscape of One More Chance emulates a  strong grassroots vibe that is heralded by the sounds of acoustic guitar and a smorgasbord of other organic instrumentation. One More Chance totes a nice break that features the craftsmanship of an electric guitar. One More Chance is layered with goodies that make the sound of falling in love again irresistible.

Read The Signs, which features Bruce Engler is a musical gem. The track has a delightful 70’s rock style that is tailored for these days and times. Another extraordinary feature of Downtown Mystic’s Read The Signs is the depth of its lyrical content. Both songs are tastefully layered and similar to One More Chance, Read The Signs takes a musical upswing towards the latter part of the song. One More Chance unveils the brilliance of Downtown Mystic.
