Musical veteran Greg Smith returns with an awesome single titled Waiting For The Truth. Smith is a brilliant singer and songwriter from Savannah, Georgia that has written and recorded nine albums. I got to learn of the musical veteran’s incredible work in my recent review of What This Is from the Waiting For The Truth album. Smith now returns with the release of the title track of the same album.
Waiting For the Truth is nothing less than a masterpiece. The song’s crafty acoustic guitar strums are remarkable. The track opens with some handsome measures of piano before it leads into its folk-rock escapade that brings yesterday into the heights of today. Smith’s easy-to-follow lyricism and elegant prose and a priceless depth to the beauty of the track. Waiting For The Truth builds off of the subject of romance in a way that is refreshing and enjoyable.
