Based out of Austin, Texas, singer and songwriter Ranzel X Kendrick has reinvented as Alias Wayne in an exploration of a crisp pop music sound. His recent single titled “Gimmie What It’s Worth” from the album Faux Pas turns out to be a tremendous cover of the Stephen Stills’ infamous single For What It’s Worth, originally performed by Buffalo Springfield. Alias Wayne lays down some moving and free-spirited vocals that carry heavy blues music overtones but stands as a great rendition of the song.
