

Songstress Michele Sherise Matlock aka Mitch Matlock has a rich musical history that begins during childhood. Her passion for music began to unfold at the age of three when she began singing with the church choir. Mitch Matlock would later gain a deeper knowledge about the music industry while working directly for an aunt who was employed by Def Jam Recordings. She began performing at open mics in and around New York City, which included the legendary supper club Nells. In 1996, Mitch got called to perform background vocals for Faith Evans at a show at the Palladium, which jumpstarted her career as a background vocalist.
Mitch Matlock would go one to tour with noted celebrities like Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Deborah Cox, Enrique Iglesias, Barbara Tucker, Meli’sa Morgan, Michael Henderson, and the Harlem Gospel Choir. In 2002, she opened for Alicia Keys in Germany. As a solo performer, Mitch Matlock has released singles in several countries. In 2014, her song No Apologies reached number #4 on Traxsource House chart. Today, Mitch Matlock is working on releasing a few more singles under the label My Father’s House Records and being the best at what she does and the greatest person that she can be!
