Based out of Rhode Island, the dark ambient and experimental sounds of an outfit called the Morpheus Project have established an impressive musical catalog. Led by the creative ingenuity of electronic composer and lyricist Kamala aka Dark Dakini, the Morpheus Project has made numerous recordings about gothic culture, love, romance, and the joys and trials of everyday life. Morpheus Project’s recent track Ghost Parables was selected as the opening track for the celebrated Innocent Species compilation album.
Ambient music is followed by an eclectic crowd that possesses a deep appreciation for the sacredness of sound and the ideas that can be communicated through music, though not an immensely popular genre. Morpheus Project continues to show their undying passion for the art form in the continuity of their offerings.
