Recently, I came across someone was inquisitive about one of the Esoteric Black Dragon Society’s principles as found on our website:

“The term “god” should not be associated with the Creator, nor defined as such. The term “god” is a title of an entity that exists within a hierarchy of beings and has nothing to do with the Creator.”

This question came up in my reply to an online article entitled Christianity and Reiki: Why The Two Are Incompatible. I received a reply to my comment from a woman named Daphney, who wrote the following in reply to my comment:

“You wrote – quote: Thirdly, “god” and the creator are two different things. The Creator rested on the 7th day and “god” took over, a representative of that force.” Please enlighten us as to the source of this information. Is it from the Bible? Thanks.”

While Daphney’s question came more as a reply to a post other than this site, I thought it would be a good time to discuss this point. The fact that the creator and “god” are not the same can be easily seen in the Bible. “God” is a being that exists in the hierarchy, along with angels and demons. I’m still wondering why people associate “god” with the Creator. God represents an aspect of the creator and some gods have deceived humanity because of their power. Here is one example, in Genesis 2:8, we read:

“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Here we see that the legendary “Garden of Eden” existed in the “the east of Eden.” Now notice where Cain was sent to after he murdered his brother Abel, as found in Genesis 4:16, where it reads:

“And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.”

In Genesis 2:8, we find that the Garden of Eden existed towards the east of Eden. We are told in Genesis 4:16 that Cain, the world’s first murderer in Biblical mythology, was exiled to the “east of Eden,” which was in the vicinity of, or was, the Garden of Eden. It is for this very reason that comparing the Creator to “god” is seen as something blasphemous to the practitioner of the Art of Ninzuwu. Here it is Adam and Eve was exiled from the “east of Eden” because of eating an “apple,” while Cain was sent to the “east of Eden” for killing his brother. Surely, this “God,” recorded in the Biblical book of Genesis is not the Creator. Tree of Souls: The Mythology of Judaism by Howard Schwartz, states the following opinion held by some rabbis on page 447, concerning Cain:

“When Cain was born, Adam knew at once that he was not of his seed, for he was not after his likeness, nor after his image. Instead, Cain’s appearance was that of a heavenly being. And when Eve saw that his appearance was not of this world, she said, I have gained a male child with the help of Yahweh.” (Genesis 4:1)

Schwartz reveals that some Jewish scholars hold the point of view that “Cain” was created from the seed of Yahweh. Another point that clearly illustrates that the “God” of the Bible and the Creator are not the same. In order to understand what a “God” really is, we need to look into the origin of religion itself. We know that the Biblical “God” needed regular sacrifice. In Genesis Chapter 8:20, 21, Noah offered a sacrifice to the Biblical “God” who responded in a favorable way. In Genesis chapter eight we read:

And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar…And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.”

It seems odd that the Creator, or the source of all things, would need a “sacrifice” in order to forgive his own creation. Scholars are aware that the oldest religious remains are those of the ancestral cults. In ancestor worship, commonly called the cult of the dead, it is believed that “sacrifice” is a tool of empowerment for the newly deceased relative. The day of the relative’s death, or ancestor, is their birthday in the spirit world. When the deceased ancestor was strengthened by such sacrifice, they could then bestow their blessings upon their descendants. In the book, Spiritism and the Cult of the Dead in Antiquity, by Lewis Bayles Paton, we read the following:

“Sacrifice is a rite that has meaning only in the cult of the dead. The blood, in which the life of the animal resides, is poured out in order that the shades may drink of it and renew their vigour. Offerings of food and drink are not needed by celestial deities, but are needed by spirits of the dead, and have been offered to them from the earliest times…and were afterward extended to other divinities..,”

Here we can see that the idea of a “sacrifice” originated among people who practiced “ancestor worship,” which was later applied to celestial deities. Throughout my research, I kept coming across information that pointed to the fact that most gods were ancient kings. But these kings were also shamans. This is also true of the Biblical “God.” In the Book of Genesis we find that man was said to created in the “image of “God.” In other words, man was created in the image of his ancestors. The Encyclopedia Britannica, by Hugh Chisholm, Volume 2, has to say on this topic, page 212 states:

“gods of fire, wind and water, gods of the sea, and above all gods of the sky, show no signs of having been ghost gods at any period in their history. They may, it is true, be associated with ghost gods, but in Australia it cannot even be asserted that the gods are spirits at all…,they are simply magnified magicians, super-men who have never died, we have no ground, therefore, for regarding the cult of the dead as the origin of religion in this area

The information, cited from the Encyclopedia Britannica, helps us to appreciate the original understanding of what the term “god” meant during prehistoric times. “God” began as an earthly shaman, who was likened unto a king-priest. When the shaman died he was born as a “God” and sacrifice was made to him to give him strength. In the case of the Biblical “God” Yahweh, he was able to amass power as a resurrected ancestor shaman because he instructed his descendants, the Israelites, to go about conquering people and forcing them to worship him. In this way he could extend his life and gain more power and return the blessings to his descendants by putting them above every nation. Deuteronomy 28:1 states:

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.”

Here we see that if the “God” of Israel was the creator of all things, then why would he raise one nation above another? The answer lies in the fact that Israel’s “God” was indeed an ancestor shaman.

In much of the Bible’s illusion of “God” we find a personification of the Sumerian pantheon. Terms like “son of god” and etc, all find their origin in Sumerian mythology. This is understandable as Abraham was from Ur. So if a person is looking to do an honest investigation of Biblical mythology, it would be best to research the background of the prominent persons mentioned in the Bible. If we were to take a brief look at some of the Sumerian pantheon we can see it resemblance in the Bible. For example, when we look at the first chapter of Genesis we find the following that after every creative the day the words, “and there was an evening and a morning.”

What is interesting about this phrase “there was an evening and a morning,” is that is said after each creative day in Genesis chapter one, even for the creative days that existed before the sun and moon were created. Evidently these words have a symbolic meaning. In a book entitled, Goddesses Who Rule, published by Asian Studies University of Puget Sound, we read the following on page 70 of the said work:

“The pure torch lit in the sky, the heavenly light, lighting like day, the great queen of heaven, Inanna, I will hail! (Jacobsen 1987, 13) As the evening and morning starInanna helps to create the rhythm of daily existence. When she appears in the evening sky, all the creatures of Sumer- animals and people alike-prepare for bed, for sleep and love making. With her arrival at dawn, the people are called forth to work and to the concerns of the community,”

Thousands of years before the Book of Genesis was written, the Sumerians honored the goddess Inanna, later known as Ishtar among the Babylonians, as the evening and morning star. Inanna in her aspect as the “evening star” was creative, and destructive, or warlike in her “morning star” aspect. We can thus say that the beginning of a day is its creative aspect, and the end of the day would be a destructive aspect need to end that particular period of time. In this case it would make sense for the evening to proceed morning as recorded in Genesis chapter one. Yet at the same time, we also have to take into consideration that this model was based on attributes assigned to Inanna, who was recorded as descending through seven gates in the myth, Inanna’s Descent into the Netherworld. Inanna represents the star Venus, but also the spirit of life. Here we see that the creation account in Genesis chapter one is based on a loose sketch of Sumerian spirituality, which laid the foundation for the Christ myth. Inanna was the world’s first crucified deity and the first holder of the title of the evening and morning star. This attributes were later fused into the Christian deity Jesus. Notice what is mentioned in the book of Revelation Chapter 22 verse 16, where Jesus is said to have mentioned the following:

“I Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning star.”

Sumerian spirituality heavily influenced Biblical spiritualism. The Sumerian god Enki is another example of this. Enki was the Sumerian god of magic and water. His sacred number was forty. In Biblical accounts that make use of the number forty, it is indeed a reference to the Sumerian god Enki.

In the Book of Revelation, we also see a description of “God” that matches the plight of the Egyptian Pharaoh. In the Revelation chapter four, we are told the following concerning the four living creatures that surround the throne of God:

“In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.”

Interestingly, the same figures that were said to surround the throne of the Biblical “God” were used in Egyptian imagery centuries before the book of Revelation was written. Below is a picture of what is known as the canopic jars, dating from approximately 990 BC:

In Shinto, the spiritual world, of which this dimension is a part, is like a corporation where certain “powers” preside over certain functions. For some strange reason, certain people feel they could just bypass this process and contact the creator of all worlds. Yet, these same people cannot bypass the political structure to talk with the president of their own country one on one, so what makes them think that they can do such in the spiritual world? The Art of Ninzuwu supports the principle that we honor the creative force in ourselves before any “god” and in this way we can tune into the divine world. However, we are not under the spell of ignorance so as to confuse the term “god” with the Creator.  On page 330 of the Tyndale Bible Dictionary by Walter A. Elwell and Philip Wesley Comfort, says:

“Pans of some Mesopotamian creation myths bear a close resemblance to the biblical accounts of Creation and earliest times.”

What religious leaders of today fail to tell their flock in blasphemous condemnation of ancient belief-systems, is that gods were always considered to be ambassadors of the Creator in ancient indigenous faiths, and not the Creator itself. While they may speak for the Creator, they themselves are not the Creator. Interestingly, the origin of the term god is unknown. We do know that it stems from the Proto-Germanic term gudan, whose meaning is uncertain. However, some define guden as “one invoked,” similar to the Sanskrit huta. Guden is also said to originate from the Germanic chieftain Gaut, who was deified after death. In a Wikipedia article, under the topic “God,” we read:

“A significant number of scholars have connected this root with the names of three related Germanic tribes: the Geats, the Goths and the Gutar. These names may be derived from an eponymous chieftain Gaut, who was subsequently deified. He also sometimes appears in early Medieval sagas as a name of Odin or one of his descendants, a former king of the Geats (Gaut(i)), an ancestor of the Gutar(Guti), of the Goths (Gothus) and of the royal line of Wessex (Geats) and as a previous hero of the Goths (Gapt). Some variant forms of the name Odin such as the Lombardic Godan may point in the direction that the Lombardic form actually comes from Proto-Germanic *ǥuđánaz. Wōdanaz or Wōđinaz is the reconstructed Proto-Germanic name of a god of Germanic paganism, known as Odin in Norse mythology, Wōden in Old English, Wodan or Wotan in Old High German and Godan in the Lombardic language. Godan was shortened to God over time and was adopted/retained by the Germanic peoples of the British isles as the name of their deity, in lieu of the Latin word Deus used by the Latin speaking Christian church, after conversion to Christianity.”

The Biblical use of the term “god” is nothing more than a personification of various gods from pagan religions. Monotheism is an illusion because the true religion is based on the family structure, within this unit each relative has a different function to perform for the development of the household overall, which is the foundation of the spiritual world and even our own physical bodies.

 The Dangers of Christianity

Christians believe that “God” needed a human sacrifice in order to pardon the sins of humanity. Now that we know that “God” and the Creator are not the same, this demand for sacrifice was for ancestor god of the Judaic people. Yet, this remains to be one of the most morbid ideas in human history. What Christians fail to realize is that human sacrifice still runs rampant in the world today, as Jesus Christ is only the personification of mankind, and every year the Judaic “God” must feed itself on the blood of humanity, who are sacrificed in war, acts of genocide, crime, serial killings, and etc. It is through this process that this ancestral “god” Yahweh can continue to live and grow in power. The mass murder of humanity is celebrated as end of the Biblical ancestral god ends his feast on December 25th. What is not known is that the “God” of the Bible is the true demon who would even “increase the pain of childbirth” for those who violated certain minor principles. This the same god that gave his descendants the green light to go out and kill every man, woman, and child of other nations that did not conform to the religious guidelines of ancient Judaism. In Exodus chapter 32:9-14, we read about the Biblical god’s misjudgment and his desire to kill the same Israelites that he delivered from Egypt:

“And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff-necked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever. And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.”

While a god is a powerful creature, one of free-will or rebellion, they should not be confused with the Creator, or the source of all things. This was well-known during the times of antiquity. We learn in ancient Shinto texts, like the Nihongi, that the gods were the results of creation and not the Creator. In the Nihongi, as translated by W. A. Aston, we read:

“Of old, Heaven and Earth were not yet separated, and the In and Yo not yet divided. They formed a chaotic mass like an egg which was of obscurely defined limits and contained germs. The purer and clearer part was thinly drawn out, and formed Heaven, while the heavier and grosser element settled down and became Earth. The finer element easily became a united body, but the consolidation of the heavy and gross element was accomplished with difficulty. Heaven was therefore formed first, and Earth was established subsequently. Thereafter divine beings were produced between them. Hence it is said that when the world began to be created, the soil of which lands were composed floated about in a manner which might be compared to the floating of a fish sporting on the surface of the water. At this time a certain thing was produced between Heaven and Earth. It was in form like a reed-shoot. Now this became transformed into a God, and was called Kuni-toko-tachi no Mikoto.”

In the Shinto creation epic, the “gods” were a result of creation, not the Creator itself. They were produced between Heaven and Earth, between the visible and astral worlds. This fact of nature is found in another Shinto document entitled, The Ivory Tablets of the Crow, which reads:

“The Sons of Aho have betrayed our ways..With their magical arts..But what more are magical books..Than the jurisdiction and procedures..Set down by kings.

Souls who come to know the different..Sides of themselves..Gave a name to each attribute..And these names became known..As gods among those who lack the knowledge

These kings live forever…Due to the ignorant worship..Of their natures..Thrown about thrones..These are the emotions of kings..That no longer remain in the body..But they dwell as emotions in all men.

Know that the names of these gods..Are a formula..A binding between the king and his earthly subject..Worship not the feelings of kings..Seek only initiation…For initiation is the only law that is just unto man..They appear as kind..They are worshipped in beauty..But their intent is evil..The Sons of Aho have betrayed our ways

In the beginning there was peace..And in the beginning peace will always dwell..So it was that the Ninzuwu rested in the beginning..It was during this rest..That the Sons of Aho deceived creation..The Sons of Aho performed the Art of Trickery..And required sacrifice from man. The Son of Aho are the emotions of the dead..After the spirit has left the body.. Man was lost.

The Sons of Aho created a lie…They posed as the creators of man..But the world is the creator..Made by the creator..And so, man is lost…The Son of Aho are the emotions of the dead..After the spirit has left the body

Thus, the journey begins with a circle..With a circle the journey never ends..This is the question of man…For he will never understand the answer.”
