As bearer of immortal swag, the New Jersey-based rap artist J-Carter is indeed an all-star player when it comes to the world of hip-hop. The lyrical veteran dropped two classic albums, Time To Shine and I’m Still Here in 2018, coupled with the hit single Get Up Off That, proving his weight in proverbial gold. J-Carter’s backstory is equally inspirational and compelling. Being the true man that he is, J-Carter thought it best to put music on hold as a young husband and father and focus on domestic life. Yet, he always kept his artistic visions in mind.
Today, J-Carter is not only one of the rap world’s brightest stars, but puts God first in his music. J-Carter’s got bars for days and a firm faith that even some of the hardest street personas must respect. J-Carter still carries the torch of rap music’s golden era made bright for the new millennium. It is with great honor that I am happy to announce J-Carter as the recipient of the Warlock Asylum International News 2019 Rap Artist of the Year Award. I would like to wish J-Carter all the best and a prosperous career.
