Greetings! I would like to welcome everyone to the Necronomicon GateWalker’s Information Page. In this issue we will discuss a question from one of our readers.

Recently I was asked, If there was ever a time when a person can cease feeding the Watcher, or Walking the Gates?

I must admit that it is not the first time that I have been asked this question, and I find it an annoying one at times. If a Christian can go to church every Sunday then I don’t see what the big deal is about feeding the Watcher once a month at the bare minimum. However, I also realize that these attitudes and questions come with the territory of teaching a rare art that the Initiate may not fully realize the value of.

First of all, I must admit that I have come under some heat for presenting some of the things that I have about the Simon Necronomicon from some of my students, who believe that the information should still be kept secret and the masses should continue to believe that the Necronomicon is a work of fiction. The Simon Necronomicon even mentions on page 13 the following:

“These secrets I give to thee at the pain of my life, never to be revealed to the profane, or the banished, or the worshippers of the Ancient Serpent, but to keep within thine own heart, always silent upon these things”

I do not feel that I have acted in violation of my Oath by presenting the information here on the GateWalker’s Page. I have setup the GateWalker’s Page as a resource for those who may be thinking about using the Simon Necronomicon as a path, or those who are working in solitude and can find this information as a healthy resource in their work.

I must also state that there are Seven Schools of Necromancy along this path. This is a subject that is rarely discussed, but it may help to clear up some questions about how long does the Initiate work with the system.  First of all let us now list these Seven Schools of Necromancy:

1st School is NANNA. NANNA consists of learning the rituals of self-initiation, and how to perform the magickal rites listed in the Simon Necronomicon. Most people that I have met who work with the Simon Necronomicon remain in this school. I personally believe that there are many individuals who work with the Simon Necronomicon and have walked all the Gates and etc, yet very few of these are truly initiated by the gods of Ancient Mesopotamia. On of my reasons for this conclusion is due to the lack of many to see the clear correlations between the workings of the Simon Necronomicon and the mythologies of Ancient Mesopotamia. Some people will go on and try to invent or add in own their own chaos workings and not understand the template that is laid out initially in the Simon Necronomicon. If you feel that this is a path for you then you should first take the time to learn what how most of the text relates to the Greater Mysteries. If you have not done this then you should not be inventing ways to add on to the text, and tech these things that could also mess up someone else’s journey. The Greater Mysteries is a science. Not an opinion and just because you do not understand it doesn’t mean that the understanding of these things does not exist.

2nd School is NEBO. NEBO is a very scientific approach to the work. It is in the School of NEBO that we must train ourselves in memorizing the text and rituals that are listed in the Simon Necronomicon. It is also in this School that we are to begin translated the mythologies of Ancient Mesopotamia and writing out their meaning. It is from the Initiate’s interpretation of the Ancient Mythologies of Mesopotamia, that older workers along the path can determine if the Initiate is actually being guided by the gods. This is also true of the Initiate’s interpretation of the Simon Necronomicon. If the Initiate’s interpretation of the Book of Black Earth does not compare with the myths of Ancient Mesopotamia, then the student has fallen under the spell of deception by the gods and they have rejected him/her. Sometimes information has been revealed to me through epiphanies, I will compare these with what is written in the Ancient Mythologies. This is how most of the information in the GateWalker’s Site is founded. However, I have seen individuals that they claim are from a divine source, and these “revelations” are completely idiotic when we compare them to the Ancient Mythologies, and to make matters worst they will invent a method of divination and add it to the workings of the Necronomicon, that is completely offensive to the Greater Mysteries. Yet they fail to understand what is written about NEBO on page 22 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“The God of Mercury is NEBO. He is a very old spirit, having a long beard, and is the guardian of the Gods, as well as the keeper of the knowledge of Science. He wears a crown of one hundred horns, and the long robe of the Priest. His colour is blue. His Essence is in that metal known as Quicksilver, and is sometimes also found in sand, and in those things bearing the sign of Mercury. His Gate is the Second you will pass in the rituals that follow. His Step on the Ladder of Lights is blue.

NEBO is the ‘guardian of the Gods’ meaning that he will send the Initiate down the path of disillusionment if the Initiate be found unworthy. See the real Necronomicon is not a material book, but the Akashic Records. Notice what is written in the Testimony of the Mad Arab:

“For this is the Book of the Dead, the Book of the Black Earth, that I have writ down at the peril of my life, exactly as I received it, on the planes of the IGIGI,…. and found the stone of monuments of vanquished civilisations, and deciphered the writings of some of these; while still others remain mysteries to any man who lives. And these civilisations were destroyed because of the knowledge contained in this book.”

See the knowledge that is contained in the Simon Necronomicon came to the Mad Arab during his astral journeys. The Mad Arab gives us the formula to be able to gain wisdom by using the methods in the Simon Necronomicon to gain astral awareness. This is the very same thing that motivated Simon is his putting the book forward and this is a point that many practitioners are not aware of. We have posted many articles here at the GateWalker’s Information Page that amounts to over 300 pages of material, and these discussion is not even 1% of the knowledge that exists in the astral Necronomicon. This is something that is revealed to you by a scribe of ENKI or NEBO, yet very few have contact with NEBO, maybe because there are very few who are willing to work.

3rd School is ISHTAR. This School involves heavy research in the field of Tantra and Sex Magick. It also involves research into the areas of personal appearance, how to work effectively in society, and how to become very effective in family life. ISHTAR  is the Goddess of War, so one should also research the connection between love and war, and the Initiate may begin training in the way of martial arts, if he/she has not done so as of yet. Notice what advice is given on page 24 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“With the Name and Number of INANNA, no Priest need fear to walk into the very depths of the Underworld; for being armed, in Her armour, he is similar to the Goddess. It was thus that I descended into the foul pits that lie gaping beneath the crust of the earth, and commanded demons.”

The Initiate in this school of study should also learn Yoga. The main theme of the Gate of Ishtar is to become aware of how energy moves throughout the body, and what causes blockages to the flow of life-force through the meridians of the body. A simple correspondence for the planet Venus is that it rules the kidneys, or how water is assimilated into the body. On an esoteric level Venus also rules how life-force circulates through the body. This is very important field of study for the following reasons that are given on page 48-49, in the Simon Necronomicon. Notice what is stated:

“The Ancient One that had escaped into the Inner World was forced back through the Gate by a magician of great power, but only at a great loss to the villages and flocks of the Island. Many sheep were slain after an unnatural fashion, and many devoured, an many Bedou rendered senseless; for the mind perceives what it is shown, but the sight of the Ancient Ones is a blasphemy to the ordinary senses of a man, for that come from a world that is not straight, but crooked, and their existence is of forms unnatural and painful to the eye and to the mind, whereby the spirit is threatened and wrenches loose from the body in flight.

And for that reason, the fearful utukku xul take possession of the body and dwell therein until the Priest banish them back to whence they came, and the normal spirit may return to its erstwhile neighbourhood.”

The above passage is referring to how energies move through the body. We get a clear insight on this from the last words that appear in the above quote; “the fearful utukku xul take possession of the body and dwell therein until the Priest banish them back to whence they came, and the normal spirit may return to its erstwhile neighbourhood.” This indicates that many of the passages in the Simon Necronomicon that refer to neighborhood and villages are symbolic of the mind and body. So while we may engage in the GateWalking Process of Self-Initiation, we still need to give care to practices that also nourishes the body and mind and increases our awareness of these two vehicle in connection with our astral body.

The 4th School is SHAMMASH. This a school where the Initiate learns about the fundamental themes of the Chaldean Covenant, and why it was created and what it is. SHAMMASH is also a school that the Initiate makes it a point to engage in charitable works. If we remember it was SHAMMASH who provided aid for DUMUZI when he tried to escape the Underworld. It is in this school that we learn the importance of self-observation regarding our thoughts and our environment. Notice what is stated on page 26 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“This God of the Sun is the Lord SHAMMASH, son of NANNA. He is seated upon a throne of gold, wearing a crown of two horns, holding a sceptre aloft in his right hand and a flame disk in his life, sending rays in every direction. He is the God of Light and of life. His colour is Gold. His Essence is to be found in gold, and in all golden objects and plants. He is sometimes called UDUU. His Gate is the Fourth you will pass in the rituals that follow. His Step on the great Ladder of Lights is Gold.”

It is within this school that the Initiate learns about botany and many of the correspondences that relate to the Gate Gods. SHAMMASH brings balance to the School of ISHTAR. It is in his school that we learn the importance of transcendental meditation. Remember, SHAMMASH acted as the judge of the dead. So it is to through transcendental meditation that we learn to observe our emotions and thoughts as something that is separate from us. This allows us to overcome inner and outer influences that we were once unaware of.

The 5th School is NERGAL. Although many are of the view that NERGAL is concerned with fighting skill, but this is learned in the School of ISHTAR.  In NERGAL the Initiate does learn the art of war, but he/she learns how to become more skillful in psychic self-defense. The Initiate after leaving the School of SHAMMASH should be well aware of how emotions and thoughts affect them. He/She can see them drifting through the mind. NERGAL teaches us how to rid our minds and bodies of emotions and thoughts that are not useful. Notice what is said on page 28 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“He has the head of a man on the body of a lion, and bears a sword and a flail. He is the God of War, and of the fortunes of War. He was sometimes though to be an agent of the Ancient Ones, for he dwelt in CUTHA for a time.”

In the above quote, it mentions that ‘NERGAL’s dwelt in CUTHA.” It is interesting to note that NERGAL’s time in CUTHA is described in past tense. This is a metaphor of the Initiate whose thoughts and emotions were once controlled by the environment and collective consciousness of the Underworld. We can see further evidence of this in the Simon Necronomicon on page 58, where we find the second half of NERGAL’s Gate Invocation. Notice what is stated:

“Gate of the God of Victory got in Battle, Open to me!
Gate of the Lord of Protection, Open!
Gate of the Lord of the ARRA and the AGGA, Open!”

NERGAL is described as the Lord of the ARRA and the AGGA in the above passage. NERGAL represents the Initiate who uses the ARRA and the AGGA for magickal and psychological defense. One of the secrets revealed through GateWalking is that this is the Underworld, the universe that we exist in. This is the universe where we are susceptible to all sorts of desires and thoughts that evade the mind. I will write a separate post about our universe and the Underworld very soon.

The 6th School is MARDUK. It is in MARDUK that we learn the fundamental structure of how laws are made and how governmental law affects the society around us. It is within this school that the Initiate learns about the history of governmental law and the laws of nature.. The Initiate also learns a great deal of goodness through humility as they prepare for GNAZIR. Page 30 of the Simon Necronomicon states the following:

“subduing the armies of Evil and putting the Queen of the Ancient Ones beneath his foot. That Serpent is dead, but dreams.”

Once the Initiate has reached MARDUK he should be in a place where his weaker self no longer has a hold on his being. After Walking Marduk the Initiate goes into GANZIR to purify himself of inappropriate influences upon the mind in body. This work is a little deeper that that of NERGAL since it concerns a deeper part of our psychic that controls the desire body.

The 7th School is ADAR. The Initiate learns of the history of the Qliphotic Tradition and how to employ the energies in the Simon Necronomicon mentally and no longer shamanistic. This is the ‘power over the Maskim and Rabishu’ that is spoken of on page 48 in the Simon Necronomicon:

“For this reason, few have ever opened the Gate of ADAR, and spoken to the Horned One who resideth there and giveth all manner of wisdom regarding the operations of necromancy, and of the spells that hasten unto death. Only when thou hast shown thy power over the Maskim and the Rabishu, mayest thou venture forth to the Land of the IGIGI, and for that reason was this Covenant made,”

The School of ADAR gives the Initiate the foundation that he needs in order to absorb the things that the deities tell him, and prepare he/she to be able to handle the forces in the realms beyond.

The Mad Arab states that he lived for 1,001 Moons, which is 77 years. This is evidently a metaphor because he later states of page 15 of the Simon Necronomicon that his journey lasted for 1,001 Moons, which is 77 years. Since we know that there are 11 Gates to be Walked, when we take into consideration the seven-initiatory Gates and the Gates of KIA, ENKI, ENLIL, and ANU, we have a total of 11 Gates. This means that the Mad Arab Walked the Tree in the each of the Seven Spheres
