The multi-talented Russell Spencer Downe possesses an incredible love for family and fellow man. Downe is a professional actor, he has also worked in the political realm, and as a healer and spiritualist. However, in recent years this self-made man has used his own resources to reunite families. Downe uses his expertise and experience as a genealogist to find lost family members, many of whom were given up for adoption.
Downe’s work is something that should be studied and documented. Unfortunately, views about having children outside of marriage in generations prior were not as liberal as we find today and due to such, there were many children that were given up for adoption. Fortunately, Many of these families were able to reconnect with family members that were put into the system because of Downe’s work. In the fall of 2018, I had the exquisite honor of interviewing Russell Spencer Downe and learning of his work first hand. it is with great honor that I am happy to announce Russell Spencer Downe as the recipient of the Warlock Asylum International News 2019 Man of the Year Award.
