Originally from Georgetown, South Carolina, rap artist extraordinaire Edmund Holmes aka SME (Stacking Money Everyday) Buddha is exploding onto the music scene with a warrior’s intellect and the talent to match. Raised in a single-parented home, SME Buddha grew up in the challenging struggle faced by many ethnic families only to find the lessons of the streets as his best teacher, which fostered much of the hustler’s edge that he is respected for today.

SME Buddha found comfort in music and began his talent as a rap artist more seriously while serving time in prison back in 2013. Upon his release five years later, SME Buddha put his heart and soul into music with tremendous results. He caught the attention of rap fans and the music industry alike with the release of RUN IT UP, which featured Boosie Badazz. Amazingly, SME Buddha’s life and musical career have been an upward spiral since reaffirming his focus on music. SME Buddha’s influences include artists like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Bossie, Meek Mill, Drake, and Rick Ross to name a few. He has opened for Jeezy and continues to learn the ins and outs of the music industry while recording and touring. SME Buddha is destined to be a legend of the genre.
