Richard Lynch is one of the finest musicians that the country music genre has to offer. Often times dubbed “the hardest working man in country music,” Lynch’s genius as a singer/songwriter is inspired by his country lifestyle and all-American upbringing. His is widely recognized for his traditional country music sound for which he has received numerous awards. Back in September of 2017 Lynch was named The Traditional Country Entertainer of The Year and his self-penned “We’re American Proud” was named Song of The Year for Songs Saluting America.

Many of our regular readers may remember my review of Lynch’s album Mending Fences. Not only was I amazed about the music on the album, but also his work as a songwriter. Richard Lynch has a way of making every song on Mending Fences have a life of its own while keeping up with other material on the album. Lynch’s work as an artist is not limited to entertainment alone; he has been on the frontline fighting for American veterans. Lynch started The Love Tattoo Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds for veterans suffering physical and mental traumas. Lynch has been honored as Humanitarian of the Year for his work in this regard.

Lynch’s intense life experience is the fuel behind his music. Above all else, Richard Lynch is an artist that you can feel through song. He has given the world of country music so much to study in the wake of his recent album. It is with great honor that I am happy to announce Mending Fences by Richard Lynch the recipient of the Warlock Asylum International News 2018 County Music Album of the Year Award! Congratulations!
