2020 Man of the Year: Rabbi Manis Friedman

Rabbi Manis Friedman has truly evolved into one of the greatest spiritual leaders of this post-modern era. As an author, biblical scholar, and philosopher, Rabbi Freidman has the unique gift of being able to simplify the most complex concepts of Jewish Mysticism into practical language for the benefit of people from all walks of life and spiritual backgrounds. Rabbi Friedman was born in Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia and migrated with his family to the United States in 1951. He would later receive ordination from Rabbinical College of Canada in 1969.

In 1971, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Friedman co-founded the Bais Chana Women International, an Institute for Jewish Studies in Minnesota for women with little or no formal Jewish education. Rabbi Friedman would later become one of the world’s most renowned lecturers and often cited by other authors and motivational figures. He has toured throughout Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States. As a literary giant, Rabbi Friedman is highly praised for his debut release in 1990 titled Does Anyone Blush Anymore? Overall, Rabbi Friedman has become one of the most highly recognized figures for positive change and has certainly advanced Jewish culture by a century, to say the least. It is with great honor that I am happy to announce Rabbi Manis Friedman as the recipient of the Warlock Asylum International News 2020 Man of the Year Award! Rabbi Friedman has inspired many of our readers in their spiritual evolution as well as people throughout the world.
