The multi-talented singer and songwriter Lourdes Pita has released her debut Spanish album titled Lamento Cubano. Lourdes is a seasoned songstress with great musical experience and knowledge. Her previous material was recorded in English as she enjoyed the success of having her compositions aired on both radio and television.
Lourdes’ latest work opens and closes with its title track Lamento Cubano. Lourdes performs wonderfully while delivering a most beautiful interpretation of the traditional Cuban song by Eliseo Grenet. The other material on the album include various songs written by Lourdes over the years but were reinvented as Spanish versions for this most illustrious work of art.
