Warlock Asylum: I feel so honored to have you as a guest on the news page and would like to begin with a big note of thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions and share your amazing energy with us here today. If you don’t mind, and for the sake of our readers who may not be familiar with your work, please introduce yourself. Who is Jessica Hartley?
Jessica Hartley: Of course! In a nutshell, I help good men single-handedly lead their marriage into a fun, passionate, and deeply rewarding relationship so they can completely avoid the destruction of divorce and never lose their wife’s respect again.
Warlock Asylum: Can you describe your environment during childhood? What was life like for your growing up?
Jessica Hartley: I had a difficult childhood. I know what it is like to struggle with self-worth, confidence, and love. I didn’t have a good model of a relationship growing up. My father was alcoholic and abusive- and after their divorce, I watched my mother marry and divorce again. I didn’t believe in real love and I had a lot I needed to learn and overcome in order to create the solid Marriage I have today.
Warlock Asylum: What inspired you to become a relationship coach?
Jessica Hartley: I was made to do this work. I love psychology and went to school for my M.A. and applied all that I have learned to my own relationship. I saw the dramatic effect it had on me and knew I had to give this gift to the world.
Warlock Asylum: What were some of the obstacles that you had to overcome in order to make your career as a relationship coach possible?
Jessica Hartley: I had to overcome the wounds of my childhood and the wounds of my early relationship. My husband and I were high school sweethearts- so we had experienced a lot of changes that we needed to go through in order to be a strong couple. Early on we struggled and suffered the blow of infidelity. I believe it is in my ability to navigate through conflict, heal deep wounds, and understand the hardest betrayals that allow me to reach so many of my clients who are in similar situations.
Warlock Asylum: Under the title of mentorship, what are some of the services that you provide to the public?
Jessica Hartley: I work closely with Men (and their Wives) to offer them a direct step by step roadmap out of the struggles they are facing and into the deepest connection in their lives.
Warlock Asylum: How has your career path affected your relationships with family, friends, and your own marriage?
Jessica Hartley: I would say it is the other way around- My Marriage and family life has greatly influenced the success of my business. My husband is my biggest supporter and My Marriage is a living example of my work. I am an open book and am proud that I “walk” what I talk.
Warlock Asylum: What are some of the reasons why a person or couple would seek to use your expertise?
Jessica Hartley: I provide results. Not just a temporary fix, but real lasting change. Many of the clients I work with have already tried traditional talk therapy and counseling- with very little progress. The step by step structure, support, accountability, and feedback I offer is unique and so much more effective than other options widely available today.
Warlock Asylum: What are the most common problems that you find people may have in relationships and/or marriage?
Jessica Hartley: Mistrust, Disconnection (Sexual or Emotional or Both) & High Conflict
Warlock Asylum: What are some of the life lessons that you have learned through your work?
Jessica Hartley: I have identified the 2 qualities you need to have a successful marriage; courage and humility. Marriage is so much more than companionship. We are “mirrors” to each other’s behavior- wrapped in an endless wave of cause and effect. It is NEVER just one person who is at fault and it only takes one to save a marriage. Marriage is a place for personal growth. At some point, your relationship will shift and you will have to face your underlying triggers, wounds and hidden weaknesses …AND GROW from them. If you don’t grow from them your reality only gets worse. You will carry these wounds around with you for your whole life & settle for unhappiness or end up alone. There is an incentive to grow. The courageous & humble partners take on some of the blame and ask- “What can I do to shift this reality?” They alone can start the ripple effect of positive change needed to save the relationship and they do it.
Warlock Asylum: Can you share with us some of the feedback that you have received from your clients and the ways in which they have benefited from your service?
Jessica Hartley: Here is a Testimony from a male client: “My relationship suffered the ultimate betrayal. Though we tried, we couldn’t get past the pain and anger we both felt. Jessica Hartley’s approach was empathetic, powerful and efficient. It proved so much more useful than talk therapy. She listened to the specific issues I was facing, gave me tools, feedback, and supported me to evoke the respect I needed from my wife. Jessica’s step by step approach carried me through this process in a way that felt natural and effortless and taught me to lead the way. Not only did we overcome the pain we were facing, I learned how to step up my game and pave the way for something so much deeper than we have ever had before. We no longer have aggressive or hurtful arguments. There is no more blame, control or manipulation. I see so many shifts in her and I know they are a direct result of the changes I made first. Now, my wife and I are a team. She cares for me like never before. All around my marriage feels so much more loving, intimate and fun”. – Arron Andrews
Warlock Asylum: Where can we expect to see Jessica Hartley five years from now? Any final thoughts?
